Disaster Recovery Services Coalition
The Disaster Recovery Coalition (DRSC) consists of representative stakeholders from health and human services provider agencies working in Pinellas County. The Coalition will serve as the operational arm of the Disaster Recovery Leadership Network. The mission of the DRSC is to ensure that health and human service delivery agencies are optimally prepared for a disaster by engaging in planning activities that focus on service delivery issues identified by the Coalition, working in concert and providing recommendations to the DRLN. The major objectives of the DRSC are to:
- Proactively, identify and offer solutions for service specific delivery problems and issues that could result following a disaster
- Maintain active communication amongst members during all phases of a disaster
- Work with community partners and the DRLN to ensure Pinellas County residents have access to health and human services as quickly as possible following a disaster.
